Throughout the year, join IPCC as we celebrate Pueblo Culture through special events and culturally relevant holidays. As an indigenous institution in the heart of Albuquerque, these signature events are opportunities for our Pueblo people, neighbors, and guests to gather, celebrate, and learn.
Indigenous Peoples Day
The second Monday of October is Indigenous Peoples’ Day. IPCC Commemorates this day with remarks from dignitaries, cultural dances, art demos, presentations, and more.
Each year on the anniversary of this event (August 10th, 1680), the IPCC hosts a celebration of Pueblo Culture through dance, arts, and education. Check out our Events Calendar in August for more details.
Since 1979 Native youth from K-12 are invited to submit artwork for a curated and juried show every November. The artworks are displayed in our South Rotunda every November-January and winning artists receive a cash prize.
