The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center (IPCC) is proud to announce the inaugural Youth Arts Market taking place on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Located in the IPCC courtyard, this event will give young Pueblo artists a chance to showcase traditional art techniques that have been passed down to them and gain first-hand experience as creative entrepreneurs. The market will be open to IPCC visitors, who will have the opportunity to explore traditional Pueblo art and support up-and-coming artists.

The market will showcase artwork by up to 24 youth Pueblo artists from New Mexico’s Pueblo communities who were selected through an application process open to Pueblo youth 18 and under. Similar to IPCC’s Daily Artist Program, the market will provide Pueblo artists with an opportunity to sell their work in a gathering place where Pueblo culture is celebrated through creative and cultural experiences.

The Youth Arts Market will be part of Kids Day, a collaboration between IPCC and Mama’s Minerals. Events for Kids Day will take place both at IPCC and across the street at Avanyu Plaza, where Mama’s Minerals is located. It will include concessions, performances by youth dance groups from Pueblo communities, a backpack giveaway and activities including scavenger hunts and a bicycle raffle.

Artists can apply to be a vendor for the Arts Market by filling out the form by an adult.
