An absolute must when visiting Albuquerque. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly up on our arrival and continued to be amazing throughout our visit, including the restaurant staff. It was an honor to see the daily dance and our little one was mesmerized. The artists selling their own pottery and jewelry were incredible people and such a joy to speak with. The museum itself is moving, thought-provoking, and beautiful. I can't speak highly enough of it. The permanent exhibition is amazing and the temporary exhibitions are a wonderful addition. Don't miss the restaurant! The food is delicious and it's a fantastic experience.

Nice Introduction The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center is near Old Town Albuquerque just off the Interstate. It’s in an impressive building somewhat reminiscent of Casa Bonito at Chaco Canyon (a large semi-circle structure around a central courtyard). The Center is multi-purpose serving as a museum, an events center and a meeting space. Today there were several conferences being held. The museum is quite nice. With the differences among the Pueblos, it was impressive how the Center wove the stories together to find commonality. But one exhibit impressed us the most. There in a darkened area was a room projecting New Mexico on the wall with the 19 Pueblos shown. It superimposed the various languages onto the map. We knew the diversity of Puebloan languages. But this depicted both the differences and the mysteries of peoples living so close to each other having languages totally unrelated to each other. We continued our visit by a tour of the gift shop. It was nice, but a bit typical of touristy gift shops. The prices seemed a bit high. What a nice visit to the Center. It provided an introduction to the visit to Acoma.Glad we went. A great introduction to New Mexico Pueblos.

Was a great experience to watch some native dancing. They also had a bunch Pueblo vendors and there homemade art work from pottery to jewelry. Was great being able to ask questions and learn how the made the different things along with the meanings of the different markings.

The museum exhibit was stunning, featuring several talented native artists. One vendor was skillfully shaping clay pottery right at their booth, which was the highlight of my visit. I plan to return soon, especially since the gift shop offers authentic, locally made items.

This was such a beautiful place to visit. The admission cost was cery reasonable and the let you take pictures. The staff was nice and I loved learning about the struggles and culture of the Pueblo people. I hate that we were not able to see the cultural dance. That would have been the cherry on top. I would definitely go again. The souvenir was a little pricey, but I understand why.

Loved this experience. We had a nice tour. The tour would have been extra nice if a Native American decendant would have lead the tour. The attached restaurant was a fantastic opportunity to taste Native American dishes! I had chicken enchiladas, and the blue corn tortillas were delicious! I recommend purchasing the tickets there to receive the discounts.

My wife and I went in for Indian tacos, but well, we waited. We decided to check out the little store. They had there was alot of beautiful jewelry and paintings. It's a bit pricey, but when you're buying art and jewelry, that is handmade. It's well worth the price.

This was a wonderful place to enjoy a.samplimg of indigenous Pueblo cuisine. The food was amazing! Make sure you try some fry bread. We had the Kool-aid fried pickles(trust me just order them they are delicious), Atole(Blue corn porridge...amazing), Indian Taco with fry bread(the reason I came...I could eat it every day), Super foods waffle made with blue corn(sooooo food), and finally the Bread pudding(you can't not get this... just writing this, I wish I was eating it right now). Oh and order extra fry bread.... The service was exceptional, I would go back all the time if I lived thewaffle

This was a very enjoyable experience. The food had a native twist on breakfast dishes that are common to most restaurants. Such as the waffles made with various types of nuts, the eggs benedict prepared with a green chile gravy. The food was great, the server was very friendly with a good sense of humor, and the setting was warm and inviting. We ate breakfast and really considered coming back for dinner the same day. It's a little off the beaten path but not hard to find. I highly suggest when you're in Albuquerque!

Welcoming There is a justified anger here, but it is directed constructively. "We are still here." Preservation and continuity of culture, and that means letting it grow. You know how in so many museums there will be a picture of "village woman making bread" or something? This one, those people have NAMES. Side-by-side are ancient pots and pots made by modern craftspeople who are given credit for their work.Okay, this museum -- which is a bit small, but with nicely representative artifacts, videos, explanatory diagrams -- also gives an overview of the cultural philosophy of the Pueblo peoples, and an opening into the mosaic of languages and cultural variations and traditional places. And it is welcoming. It says come and learn about us.

I love the staff; they have been so helpful when I visit. I'm originally an native New Mexican with both Jicarilla Apache/Tewa ancestors and Hispanic (European) ancestors. The place and staff make me feel at home and the food, art work, museum, merchandise is both authentic and I return to Indiana satiated.
