41st Annual Native American Student Art Show
Artists Circle Gallery 2401 12th St NW, Albuquerque, NM, United StatesThis annual exhibition was established in 1979 to encourage creativity among Native youth, and to help them recognize that the future preservation and evolution of Native culture lies with them. This year, entries focus on COVID-19 and how young people used art as a way of healing and processing their feelings about the effects the pandemic had on them, their families, and their communities. Free for members, or with museum admission.
Pueblo SEEDSS Traditional Foods Day 1 of 2 Workshop
Silver & Turquoise Room 2401 12th St NW, Albuquerque NMIPCC created the Pueblo SEEDSS Program (Sowing Ecological Education for Delivering Sustainable Stewardship) as a way to teach and promote sustainable agricultural practices, traditional cooking methods and healthy lifestyles within Native communities. Our last Pueblo SEEDSS workshop of the year will include Traditional Foods presentations and demonstrations.
