This annual exhibition was established in 1979 to encourage creativity among Native youth, and to help them recognize that the future preservation and evolution of Native culture lies with them. This year, entries focus on COVID-19 and how young people used art as a way of healing and processing their feelings about the effects the pandemic had on them, their families, and their communities. The show runs through January 8, 2022. Free for members, or with museum admission.

Please contact Paula Mirabal, Head Curator at [email protected] or call at (505) 724-3564 if you have any questions and for submissions.
