Pueblo SEEDSS-Youth Conference

The Cultural Education Team and the Flower Hill Institute will host our 2nd Youth conference for the Pueblo SEEDSS project. Activities will include: Traditional Ecological Knowledge; STEAM Activities with traditional foods; an art activity; and Shinny ball. Pueblo SEEDSS Traditional Foods Day 1 of 2 Workshop

IPCC created the Pueblo SEEDSS Program (Sowing Ecological Education for Delivering Sustainable Stewardship) as a way to teach and promote sustainable agricultural practices, traditional cooking methods and healthy lifestyles within Native communities. Our last Pueblo SEEDSS workshop of the year will include Traditional Foods presentations and demonstrations.

This month’s activities will focus on Traditional Ecological Knowledge on traditional foods. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and participants will receive a FREE take-home garden kit. Space is limited to 30 young people, ages 7 to 16.
