IPCC Family Story Time: Adobe

On March 22nd, IPCC’s Family Story Time will feature stories and activities on the topic of adobe and Pueblo architecture! Books featured will include Taos Pueblo: Painted Stories written and illustrated by Jonathan Warm Day (Taos Pueblo), In My Mother’s House by Ann Nolan Clark (author) and Velino Herrera (Illustrator), and The Three Little Javelinas by Susan Lowell.

Free for children and accompanying adult.

A SMALL SAMPLE OF THE SKILLS DEVELOPED WHEN CHILDREN ATTEND STORY TIME SESSIONS:

  • Increases vocabulary and overall brain development. Improves attention, concentration and listening skills.
  • Increases creativity and imaginative thinking.
  • Social and communication skills development and most importantly, it is fun, and children get to spend quality time with an adult who is important to them-YOU!
