Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration

New Mexico’s Native American tribes gather with civic officials and the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center to commemorate this statewide holiday with cultural dances, Native artisans and guest speakers. Join us as we celebrate the rich history, resilience and contributions of Native people. Renowned cartoonist and artist Ricardo Caté (Santo Domingo Pueblo) and Miss Indian New Mexico, Kelsey Quintana (Jicarilla Apache Nation), will be part of the day’s festivities.

Free for members or Native Americans, or with museum admission. Traditional regalia is encouraged for tribal members.

Indian Pueblo Cultural Center- Courtyard
Join the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center as we commemorate and celebrate the resilience of the Indigenous People of the Western Hemisphere. On this day, our state celebrates the invaluable contributions and resilience of the Indigenous People from the past, present, and future.
The event is open to all and included with Museum Admission.
