Journeys and Pathways: Contemporary Pueblo Women in Leadership, Service, and the Arts Oral History Project
02:00 pm - 04:00 pm MDT
Join us for an encore screening of the hour-long documentary, Journeys and Pathways: Contemporary Pueblo Women in Leadership, Service, and the Arts Oral History Project. This
documentary features interviews with twenty women from thirteen pueblos. Principal videographer, Dr. Beverly Singer (Tewa/Santa Clara Pueblo), created a video narrative about how each Pueblo woman’s family shaped her childhood and educational path, and how connection to home and culture provided strength through disappointments and difficulties. Some of the interview subjects will be with us to talk about the process and the importance of this documentary as a resource for young Pueblo women. Light refreshments will be served.
