Join PIVOT co-curators Landis Bahe (Diné) and Kandis Quam (Zuni) as they lead a panel discussion with PIVOT artists Mallery Quetawki (Zuni), Roberta Bitterwater (Diné), Leandra Yazzie (Diné), Jason Garcia (Santa Clara), and James Johnson (Tlingit) as they talk about PIVOT, its origin, and the work of each of the artists as they create art from a perspective that is not entirely their own.

The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center seeks K-12 Native youth to participate in its 43rd Annual Native American Student Art Show, entitled “Who is Your Superhero?” The theme aims to let students show who the superheroes in their lives are—be it parents, grandparents, friends, pets, or nature.

The two Native Co-Curators, Landis Bahe (Dine/Navajo) and Kandis Quam (Zuni Pueblo), along with a few of the Native artists in the exhibition, will be demonstrating and talking about painting skateboards. Victor Corpuz (Laguna Pueblo), Maize Entities, LLC, will be providing the skateboard decks for this workshop.
