Pueblo SEEDSS Webinar #4 – Traditional Foods
VirtualPlease join us for our 4th Pueblo SEEDSS webinar featuring Chef Ray Naranjo and moderated by Andi Murphy, Host of Toasted Sister Podcast. Chef Ray will prepare a meal using traditional outside cooking techniques. We will also have presenters on traditional foods, harvest time, and seed saving.
Pueblo SEEDSS-Youth Conference
Resilience Garden 2401 12th St NW, Albuquerque, NM, United StatesThe Cultural Education Team and the Flower Hill Institute will host our 2nd Youth conference for the Pueblo SEEDSS project. Activities will include: Traditional Ecological Knowledge; STEAM Activities with traditional foods; an art activity; and Shinny ball. Pueblo SEEDSS Traditional Foods Day 1 of 2 Workshop
Silver & Turquoise Room 2401 12th St NW, Albuquerque NMIPCC created the Pueblo SEEDSS Program (Sowing Ecological Education for Delivering Sustainable Stewardship) as a way to teach and promote sustainable agricultural practices, traditional cooking methods and healthy lifestyles within Native communities. Our last Pueblo SEEDSS workshop of the year will include Traditional Foods presentations and demonstrations.
Pueblo SEEDSS Youth Conference, Co-hosted with Flower Hill Institute
IPCC Classroom North End of Campus 2401 12th St NW, Albuquerque, NM, United StatesThe Cultural Education Team and the Flower Hill Institute will host our 3rd Youth Conference for the Pueblo SEEDSS Program. This month’s activities will focus on Traditional Ecological Knowledge on traditional foods. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and participants will receive a FREE take-home garden kit. Space is limited to 30 young people, ages 7 to 16.
