Permanent Exhibition
We Are Of This Place: The Pueblo Story
Discover the Pueblo people’s legacy of resilience through their own words and voices. As the permanent exhibition at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, “We Are of This Place: The Pueblo Story” is inspired by the traditions that have been passed down for generations, honoring our land and all living things.
“We Are of This Place: The Pueblo Story”, opened in 2016 as part of our year-long 40th Anniversary celebration. The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center first opened its doors to the public in 1976, and this marked the museum’s first major exhibit renovation since our founding. Through it, we seek to present with dignity and respect the history and accomplishments of the Pueblo people of New Mexico.
