Native American Student Art Show Applications Available
IPCC is now accepting applications and entries for the 43rd Annual Native American Student Art Show, which will be held in our South Gallery, October 28, 2023 through February, 2024. This year’s theme is “Celebrating Our Pollinators”, giving us an opportunity to take a closer look at the environment around us. We as Pueblo people are thankful for our relationship with the pollinators, and they are often seen in Pueblo artwork such as pottery, paintings, clothing, and books. How do our flowers, plants, and gardens thrive and provide for us? This is a showcase for students to share, through their art, their view of how important pollinators are to our environment.
The application is required to participate in the exhibit and must accompany the artwork submitted. The deadline for artwork and application is October 7. For more information, contact Paula Mirabal at (505)724-3564 or at [email protected]
