IPCC’s Family Story Time: Coyote Places the Stars

On Saturday, May 11th our Storyteller will be Channing Concho (Acoma, Laguna) and book title will be Coyote Places the Stars by Harriet Peck Taylor (Available in the Indian Pueblo Store here).

A delightful retelling by author Harriet Peck Taylor of a Wasco Indian legend about the origin of the constellations.

Beautiful illustrations accompany this easy-to-follow tale of how the magic in the sky can inspire us all to explore the natural world around us.

Free admission for children and an adult family member.

A small sample of the skills developed when children attend Story Time sessions:

  • Increases vocabulary and overall brain development. Improves attention, concentration and listening skills.
  • Increases creativity and imaginative thinking.
