IPCC Family Story Time

Our July 12th Story Time will feature the book “Coyote and the Sky” by Emmett Garcia (Santa Ana Pueblo), illustrated by Victoria Pringle. Children will learn the Santa Ana Pueblo legend of the creation of the sun, moon, and stars. The Animal People work together to light the dark night sky, but Coyote, who has not been invited to help, is determined to cause trouble. Children of all ages are welcome at Story Time!

Free for children and adult family member.

 

A SMALL SAMPLE OF THE SKILLS DEVELOPED WHEN CHILDREN ATTEND STORY TIME SESSIONS:

  • Increases vocabulary and overall brain development. Improves attention, concentration and listening skills.
  • Increases creativity and imaginative thinking.
  • Social and communication skills development and most importantly, it is fun, and children get to spend quality time with an adult who is important to them-YOU!
