Pueblo Book Club: Foods of the Southwest Indian Nations Native American Recipes By Gloria Chavez-Sampson Lois Ellen Frank (Kiowa) (Invited Guest)
02:00 pm - 04:00 pm MDT
This Pueblo Book Club will be offered both online (Zoom) and in person in the Chaco III room at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center at 2pm.
To kick start Pueblo Feast season, what better way to get prepared than to start talking about Pueblo cuisine? One essential experience of Pueblo Feast Days is the food. However, it isn’t just foods from vendors or food trucks. What makes feast days solely unique is being invited into someone’s home, sitting at the family dinner table and indulging in traditional foods. Foods of the Southwest Indian Nations: Native American Recipes, by Lois Ellen Frank, is this month’s book, chosen to help you in preparing a gastric experience for guests, enhancing your own recipes.
The book is also available at the Indian Pueblo Store. BUY ONLINE HERE
The form to RSVP for the online meeting is here. Stay tuned! The deadline to register is the day before the event. April 11, 2022 11:59 PM
