Albuquerque, NM – Tradition and culture go hand in hand with baseball as the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center (IPCC) sponsors our second Native American Heritage Night with the Albuquerque Isotopes on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and gametime is at 6:35 p.m. This will be a night of family fun for everyone highlighting local Indigenous culture with authentic cultural performances and an exclusive themed giveaway.
In collaboration between the Albuquerque Isotopes and the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, the first 2,500 fans will receive a Pueblo pottery style hat designed by Brittney Juancho from Isleta Pueblo who made a pattern of the floral, rain, Earth, and Sky elements to bring balance and a striking visual to the hat.
The Isotopes players will wear specialty Native American Heritage jerseys designed in partnership with the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and renowned potter Evone “Snowflake” Martinez from Pueblo de San Ildefonso and Pueblo de Cochiti. The club will also sell the limited-edition Native American Heritage jerseys exclusively in the Pro Shop during Native American Heritage Night with 10 percent of sales going to the Bob Chavez Scholarship for the Arts, supporting Pueblo student artists.
“This night is about supporting the future generations of artists,” said IPCC’s President and CEO, Monique Fragua. “As IPCC celebrates our 50th year anniversary, we are honored to help make an impact by highlighting Native American art and culture on and off the field.”
The Isotopes will also hold an online auction of signed game-worn Native American Heritage jerseys with proceeds benefitting the Bob Chavez Scholarship for the Arts. The auction will begin at 5:30 pm on Saturday, August 8 and end at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 12. An Orbit signed jersey and one team-autographed jersey and baseball will also be featured in the auction. Click here for auction link.
