Albuquerque, NM — December 4, 2025 — The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center (IPCC) has received a $4,700 grant from The Denver Foundation’s Greenwood Fund in support of collections care and preservation efforts within the IPCC Museum.

This funding will help enhance the stewardship of the IPCC’s permanent collection, which preserves and interprets the cultural heritage of the 19 Pueblo communities of New Mexico. Specifically, it will support the use of Emergency Kits for the Collections area to protect artifacts from environmental elements. The support will enable the museum team to continue advancing conservation practices that ensure the long-term protection of Pueblo artifacts and artworks for future generations.

“The Greenwood Fund’s investment helps us uphold our commitment to preserving Pueblo cultural materials with the highest standards of care,” said Dr. Michelle Lanteri, Head Curator at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. “We are deeply grateful for this support, which strengthens our ability to share Pueblo stories, artistry, and resilience with visitors from around the world.”

The Greenwood Fund, administered by The Denver Foundation, provides small grants to support conservation and collections care for museums in Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming.
