Albuquerque, NM, Feb. 10, 2025 —The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center (IPCC) is bringing a new event to its campus with “IPCC Presents: Pueblo Immersion, ” a dynamic experience of Pueblo culture running from March 1 through April 12. This event will take the place of the usual outdoor cultural dances as IPCC works to renovate and update its courtyard.
This new experience begins in the Indian Pueblo Kitchen (IPK), located inside IPCC. Visitors will enjoy a Pueblo lunch featuring IPK’s award winning Indian taco.
Each day of the event will feature its own unique presentation such as Pueblo dancers, artist demonstrations, flute performances and lectures. Finally, visitors will be taken on a guided tour of the IPCC museum, learning the story of the Pueblo People from precolonial times to the present day and discovering their legacy of resilience through their own words and voices.
Since its opening in 1976, IPCC’s courtyard has been one of the many places on the campus where visitors can experience Pueblo art and culture firsthand by buying directly from Pueblo artists, viewing its vibrant murals, and seeing cultural dances from local Pueblos. IPCC's Pueblo Immersion aims to provide visitors with an equally engaging cultural experience as the courtyard is renovated. Improvements to the courtyard will ensure that visitors to IPCC will be able to continue enjoying everything that it has to offer for years to come. To help support IPCC while the courtyard is being upgraded, visitors can donate to the Cultural Center at indianpueblo.org/donate.
Tickets to “IPCC Presents: Pueblo Immersion” are $40 per person, with a limit of 40 people per event time. The presentations will take place at 12 p.m. on March 1, March 15, March 29, and April 12.
