Albuquerque, NM, Jan. 17, 2025 —The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center (IPCC) is excited to announce that Monique Fragua will be stepping into the role of President and CEO of IPCC and Indian Pueblos Marketing, Inc. (IPMI). Ms. Fragua, a respected member of the Pueblo of Jemez, currently serves as IPCC and IPMI’s Chief Operating Officer. Over the years, she has demonstrated significant leadership and a proven track record of excellence.

Her dedication and forward thinking approach has contributed to the successful completion of numerous projects and the launch of new business initiatives. Her commitment to IPCC’s nonprofit mission is unwavering. She has been instrumental in supporting the museum, collections, archives, library, and cultural programs that are at the heart of IPCC.

Ms. Fragua’s deep familiarity with the organization and understanding of the delicate balance between honoring Pueblo culture and pursuing sustainable growth for IPCC/IPMI’s enterprises will ensure that the organizations remain aligned with the mission set forth by the 19 Pueblos. Ms. Fragua is also an active contributor to the New Mexico community, serving currently as an Albuquerque Community Foundation Trustee, Homewise Board Member, and as Chairwoman for the Pueblo of Jemez Housing Authority. Her contributions reflect her deep-rooted commitment to service and community enrichment, values that will continue to guide her leadership and advance IPCC’s mission.

Ms. Fragua will be transitioning into the role of CEO upon the retirement of current President and CEO Mike Canfield with her official first day being April 1, 2025. Mr. Canfield and Ms. Fragua will be working closely over the coming months to ensure that the transition of leadership is smooth and seamless.
