Every year in March, we celebrate National Women’s History Month. This year, we are celebrating our Pueblo women as we recognize their leadership, strength, and courage. On March 5 from 10 AM – 2 PM we will be highlighting women artisans and dancers with two demonstrations and two dance performances.

Schedule:

• 10 – 11 AM: Pottery Demonstration – Claudia Mitchell (Acoma Pueblo)
• 11 AM – noon: Dance Performance – Ria Thundercloud (Sandia / Ho-Chunk) with Michael Lucero (San Felipe)
• Noon – 1 PM: Dance Performance – Olla Maidens (Zuni Pueblo)
• 1 – 2 PM: Jewelry Demonstration – Maria Lovato (Santo Domingo)

Free for museum members, or with admission.
